Liverpool Dominate Man United 3-0 with Mo Salah and Luis Díaz Leading the Charge
Luis Díaz scored two goals and Mohamed Salah added another to help Liverpool beat Manchester United 3-0 in the Premier League on Sunday. It was a strong win for Liverpool against their big rivals.
Liverpool controlled the game from the start, and Manchester United struggled to keep up. Liverpool took the lead in the 35th minute when Díaz scored with a header after United's Casemiro lost the ball.
Casemiro made another mistake that led to Díaz’s second goal just before halftime, again assisted by Salah. This goal made many United fans leave their seats early to get refreshments.
After halftime, Liverpool continued to dominate, and Salah scored a third goal 11 minutes into the second half. Liverpool didn't score any more goals but still maintained a perfect winning record this season under their new coach, Arne Slot.
Manchester United's captain, Bruno Fernandes, told Sky Sports that the goals came from mistakes made by the team. He said they shouldn’t blame each other but instead focus on improving. He also mentioned that Liverpool was more effective with their chances, even though the game was close.
After some positive changes over the summer, including new players and board members, United's recent loss to Brighton reminded fans that the team still needs to improve. Facing a strong Liverpool team, who had lost only once in their last 12 Premier League games against United, was a big challenge for United before the match.
