'I’m Going to Be Alright': Mattress Mack Hospitalized for Cognitive Issues

 People in the community are sending their best wishes to Jim "Mattress Mack" McIngvale, a well-known businessman, who is recovering from some "cognitive" issues. 


On Saturday, McIngvale posted a video on social media from his hospital bed at St. Luke’s hospital in the Texas Medical Center. In the video, he said he was having some problems with his thinking but assured everyone that he is “going to be alright.” 


Even while in the hospital, Mattress Mack didn’t forget about business. He used the video to talk about his Labor Day Super Sale and encouraged everyone to visit Gallery Furniture, saying it would make him feel better! 


The video has received over 10,000 likes and has been shared more than 1,000 times on social media. 


We have tried to get more information about his health from his spokesperson but have not heard back yet.

British archer Jodie Grinham made history by becoming the first athlete to win a Paralympic medal while pregnant.
